"The Kaikōura Arts Society has a rich history dating back to 1955 and after six decades continues to fulfil the vision of its founders led by Cora Wilding; fostering creativity, promoting an appreciation, and understanding of the visual arts, whilst encouraging participation amongst young and old.  With a diversity of talent amongst its members, the exhibition has a range of art on display offering something for everyone to appreciate and enjoy.

This year for the first-time the art society have included a fundraiser ‘Seascape’ section to the exhibition.  All artists followed a brief of making artworks to fit an A5 format.  Artworks made using any medium of the artists choice will be sold at a fixed price, all sales from this section will be donated to Westpac Helicopters.

The Mayfair Arts and Culture Centre are delighted to be hosting this exhibition for the second year running."
